Drayton Valley Qualifying was set for 8 cars after 2 rounds 1. Eddy Plaizier 7.52 First Round We saw some close racing with Eddy Plaizier taking out Ron Sekura with a stout 7.51 to Ron's 7.54, Darrel Webb 7.61 to Rod Elliot's 7.59, Joey Steckler taking out Mattias Hane and Cal Tebb getting by Corey Sekua Semi Finals Ist pair out we saw some more close side by side action. Our number 1 and 2 racers in points coming into the race weekend, found Eddy Plaizier get by the Burnout King Darrel Webb's Vette, next pair was the Bad Goat GTO Judge of Cal Tebb take on IBAA resident painter Joey Steckler's Corvette in another close race with Cal getting by to the final. The FINAL The Final was set with Cal Tebb's beautifully prepared orange GTO ( bad goat) Judge, taking on Team ACE Racing's 37 Chev driven by Eddy Plaizier. They did not disappoint the fans as they knocked the tree down, both running in the 50's and Eddy coming out on top by 9 thousands of a second. The final also seen Cal's chutes not deploy and he ventured off at the end of the track. Other than some grass and dirt inside and outside of the car, driver and car were fine.
